Goals
When I started on my re-evaluation. I had a number in mind. I thought 225# was my magic number. The point where I would be happy with my weight and I could call it quits. But, I have come to realize that it is not all about the number. For me, it is more about looking good and feeling good. I really would like to:
- wear size 36 pants again
- bench 250#
- run a mile and a half in 12 minutes
I take these as my long term goals. 250 is my first mile stone goal; the point where I will reevaluate my plans and program. Thankfully, I am on my way. I lost another 1.5 this week, and I am now down to 281.5.

About Me
I am a crazy busy guy. My normal job is teaching juvenile delinquents at a lock-down rehab facility. I am up at 4:45 AM to be to work by 6:30-6:45. I leave around 2:30 PM to go work out. By 3, I am hitting it pretty hard. By 4, I am down the road to home school juvenile sex offenders who are too high on the offense tier level to attend regular school. At 5:30, I can head for home. Now, if it is a Monday or a Friday, I am done for the day--just house work. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, I host live trivia at local bars. I have to be to work by 7 and I don't get home 'til 11 PM. Saturday mornings I hit the estate auctions looking for deals; I resell antiques for play money. The afternoon is for chores. The evening is for socializing, maybe. Sunday is the Lord's day, and I try to do as little as possible.
In July of '09, I realized that I was over 320#. Knowing the fact you are better than 320 is way different from realizing it, coming to grips with it. I naturally have a big frame. I wear a 7 1/2 fitted hat. I wear 12 EEE shoes. My shoulders are 24" wide. I am a big guy. But, 320 is way too huge. I hope to share my goals with you all soon so I can get feedback on their practicallity.

Ah Crap!
I know I said over a week ago that I would be posting my meal and exercise routine for critique. However, I have not managed to do so, yet. I have been working on it. And, yes, I have been sticking with it. I lost a litle better than 5 lbs in the past 2 weeks. My commitments have gotten in the way of journaling. So, really, my first good post should be an introduction to me, so that one might better understand my position. I will work on that.

Start
So, I decided to get off my rear and make a life change. I needed get my food mind set, and diet right, and in tune with an exercise program. I started doing some things, reading more fitness info, and I began following some fitness blogs. I follow the Anti-Jared and Jack Sh!t Gettin Fit. Jack makes me laugh. Tony helps me keep my eye on the prize. I plan to post my meals and work outs with the hope of getting some feedback from the people out there. Perhaps you all can help me fine tune so I can reach my goals. I will post a better explanation tomorrow. Now, it is the time for house and yard work. Thanks!
